Lukasz Sliwa earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Kean University in 2020. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, also from Kean University, in 2017.
Lukasz has completed internships, including in outpatient hand therapy and in brain injury settings. During his clinical rotations, he had experience addressing a wide variety of orthopedic and cognitive deficits. Lukasz has mainly worked in outpatient orthopedic settings since graduation. He is Graston Technique trained and holds a Certified Aging in Place certification (CAPS). Lukasz is a strong believer that continuing education is essential in order to provide the best possible care across lifespan.
Lukasz has always been passionate about helping people with daily life activities. If it was assisting classmates struggling with their coursework or teaching others how to operate the computer, he was always eager to help. The versatility of Occupational Therapy and the ability to help people with everyday activities made it an easy choice. Lukasz incorporates the use of soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular reeducation techniques to achieve successful performance in desired occupations.
In his free time, Lukasz enjoys working out at the gym and biking. He is also passionate about cuisine from all over the world and is always looking for a good restaurant recommendation.
